Neutral Nursery


One of my favorite and most rewarding rooms to design is definitely a nursery. It’s a great opportunity to be creative and put your personal touch on a space. I’m currently working on 2 nurseries, each one with a very different look and feel to the room. The nursery below was a collaboration with a client who had a vision and a general direction for her daughter’s nursery. She loved the idea of a neutral color palette with lots of textures, creating a soft look to the room. We further developed the concept by adding a striped accent wall with a custom art piece.  This is a one-of-a-kind piece, made specifically for this room.

While it is still in progress, the pictures below show most of the furniture and accessories used in the room. Photos of the accent wall painting process and custom art installation are also shown below.
