Before & After Westchester Home
I began this project in mid March 2015 and only recently had the pleasure of completing it. There were several renovations that occurred during this time. One of the areas that required a lot of work was the sun room. The original tile floor was used as a shallow fountain base. After the tile was removed, the floor had to be leveled with concrete, which took many loads to accomplish. Another minor area of renovations was the entry. The original green, marble façade of the fireplace was updated with a sleeker, white tile. Charcoal, slate tile was used to update the hearth. The remaining work on the home was cosmetic, with the removal of wallpaper, lighting installations and updates to the paint colors. For furniture, the homeowners brought only the Sunroom sectional and coffee table with them from their apartment in the city. All other furniture, accessories and artwork were purchased for their new “old” home. Enjoy the transformation!
